And so it begins 87 gt
I have a stock 87gt. And I now have the time and money to start to put into my car. So one of the first starting point I thought I jump into was the intake manifold. I been looking for some time now and as it seems the best intake manifolds for my car is the- BBK SSI intake Manifold with 70mm Throttle Body and Fuel RailsTB for around $750- So what in asking is does anyone have this on their car? And what do you all think? Is this a good starting place?

Id save up some more money and get a kit like the Trickflow setup or Holley Systemax (check Summit for info) and youll have heads, a cam, an intake and more parts for the swap all at once.
I really wish I went that route with my car. I pieced together my h/c/i setup and ended up spending more money than one of the kits and I didnt even buy an intake. (already had an intake when I bought it)
Putting an intake on a stock motor isnt going to have all that great of a benefit.

Ive only heard about people not liking the BBK SSI intake. Ive never heard of anybody saying how great it is.
