A couple things can cause it, what method did you use to convert to mass air? Did you just repin the computer or buy the harness (imo a waste)?
When you converted to mass air did you unplug the vacuum line going into the map sensor? (it needs to be open to atmosphere on mass air) speed density uses the map sensor to check intake manifold absolute pressure, mass air uses it to measure barometric pressure.

Did you unplug the vac line from the map sensor? (when you do this you have to plug the line that you pulled off of it going to the intake manifold. you can use anything to plug it... screws, golf tee's, ect...)
