Heli-Coil in flywheel. Bad idea?

Heli-Coil in flywheel. Bad idea?
When installing the pressure plate to the flywheel a bolt stripped the hole in the flywheel. Am I able to heli-coil it or does it need replaced now? It's in good shape just that hole...

A few years ago I was in a bind and had to helicoil a few of mine but I didn't have any metric helicoils so I ended up drilling all of them out and helicoiled in 5/16 helicoils and it worked fine for 2-3 years until I finally switched to an aluminum flywheel

no I didn't switch for racing purposes..I didn't have any metric bolts at the time and a few were cross threaded and I had a set of standard 5/16 flywheel bolts and helicoils.. so yes it's okay to do and will work..but for as cheap as a flywheel can be had....it's easier to buy one IMO

I was talking the switch from steel to aluminum. How much are they? where should I get one?
