Will this work good with a 100shot of nitrous? If so wet or dry. He wants to run low 13's high 12's on a tight budget. What else could he do besides full exhaust and this intake and nitrous?

I am going with a similiar setup with a stock lower (for now, Porting soon) and a cartech box upper. The stock intake wasn't designed to flow fuel, so that increases my fear of puddling. The box is a str8 shot to the lower and to me it seems as if it lowers the risk of fuel puddling. I would change the cam and go with a profile that compliments the intake system. Could add a Snow kit to that setup so he could run more timing and juice.

Being a stock motor and no plans to modify the intake for nitrous. Only wanting to go with 100 shot, go with the dry system its easy to install and should work great with the intake.

To get in the low 13's high 12's cheap,with the nitrous, intake, and exhaust.Install 3:73 gears,1.7 rr / 1.72 rr,advance the stock cam 2 to 4deg., remove front sway bar, work the rear suspension to hook, drag radials not slicks (slick bite to hard and break rearend), andmix about 2 gallons of unleaded race fuelwith fuel in tank.On the bottle it should go mid to high 12's easy.

no intake is necessary, mid 12's are capable on stock block, 4.10's, 100 shot, power delete and et streets

my '89 went 12.50's that way squirting 75

Without the heads and cam to support that intake, itwill not give you any gain. You're better off using the stock intake even with the 100hp shot.

I understand pjc, I mean one day he will buy gt 40's buthes still in school n part time, Butthanks for all thepost..Should be fun tryn to get into the 12's with aslittle money as possible.. umm, should he buy a bigger cam nitrous cam or stay with stock and retard it like you guys said?

also for exhaust, I dont want to waiste time putting shortys on if there not going to do nothing but sound. If this setup requires long tubes, He will have to go that route but what do you guys think? Also what about injectors and maf and t/b?
