well if spark isnt coming from the coil, the dizzy turns and sends the signal to the tfi and the tfi sends it to the coil then to the cap? or something like that.

i hope its not the dizzy, well i mean i do, easy fix, but that would be the 2nd reman dizzy, the 1st one from carquest didnt fit, the second one lasted 3 min, and i went to napa and got this one...
im going to have to do the dizzy turn thing and see if i get a on/off signal to the coil.
the stator is what ID'S each cylinder and when to fire .....the reluctor wheel that spins round and round with the dizzy is the marker for the stator to id the cylinders.....after that the signal is amplified / tranfered trough the tfi where pip is sent to ecm for output of injector and coil control......so a no spark from the coil either indicates a tfi prob or stator issue.. that's to say all fuses are intact, coil is known good and all ignition powers and grounds are present
hahaha holy **** you actually know all theacronims to the sensors and wires damn thats a first i dont know many people that know that even the guys at my shop are like duh what the hell is this i havent seen something like this in years i dont even remember how it works

ill be playing around with it after i get home from work, so not till around 5:30.
the thing is, i feel ashamed, im working at a ford dealership, going to school and all to be a tech, and i cant fix this pos i have [:@] gotta love the hands on time blowing butt kickin money spending experiece this stang has given me though lol its priceless

Check the resistance of the ECM Ground Wires to ground at battery located at terminals 20, 40 and 60. If thats bad, check the resistance of the ground to firewall.

2. Check the resistance on the ECM power relay in the same fashion. Do not rely on voltage readings, something your gonna start getting used too.

3.Check the ECM for any dormant codes. If you get an internal fault code, or a no read, replace the ECM.

well the pcm works, i can switch tunes on my tweecer and it responds, i know this b/c one tune is an al9, used to clear kams and it makes the fuel pump run continous, but i will do all the checks anyway, thanks a mill!

There could be a hardware or software issue, try substituting a used ecm, this is the only time I have heard of an SN doing this behavior.

the last time i had no spark was from a brand new dizzy that died after 3 min of idleing, i really dont see the pcm as the problem, im thinking either dizzy or ground issue

when cranking,(used test light) coil plug does not light up, if i run to batt - and coil +, it blinks....sooo...is that a negative wire to coil (signal wire i think) wire open or a signal problem, like pip or hall in dizzy?
