getting rid of false advertisement..
My 89 gt which you can see in my avatar is not a cobra, but I bought it with cobra emblems on the front 1/4 panels. I have always been one to criticize false advertisement and want to remove mine. probably a dumb question, but can I just take them off or is there a procedure?

RE: getting rid of false advertisement..
thanks guys, I used floss (yes it works) to get the main emblem off. I actually used goo gone as well, didnt come off quite as smoothly as I expected but you cant tell anything was there unless you put your face about a foot away =].
Ya its an 89' gt, says gt all the way around, the guy I bought it from put on the '93 cobra spoiler, 2000 cobra r hood (looks awesome), and has cobra wheels I have never seen/been able to find. That sucks too cause im trying to find some 275's for the back, 245's all the way around just dont cut it for traction, especially with my sh!tty "ventus" tires, I can spin em up to third gear and all I have is 373's, full exhaust and underdrive pullies lol.

Im a firm believer that if its not what the emblem says, shouldnt be there.
What disturbs me alot, is that alot of 2005+ Mustangs are getting GT500 Kits when they dont have that power.
