the motorcraft ones appear to be garbage sine they are always failing. don't know if they do make one thats any more durable or gives more longetivity though.
remote mount it. Like adder said sn95's were moved & it will significantly prolong the life of it if you do it aswell. Not all to complicated either. Takes 6 spade connectors 3 male 3 femail. Mount the tfi on the firewall, run 3 wires.

If you do end up having to losen the disty to get to the two bolts mark where the disty is before doing so & just move it back when done.

unbolt it, pull it off the distributor.
slide the new one in place, bolt it down


done!
