Hello Everyone,

I have a 1994 GT convertible that did not come stock with keyless entry so there is no module in the trunk. What I am wondering is if I were to purchase a used OEM module would it plug right into my existing wiring harness in my trunk or not? From the looks of it, I do not see any plugs in my trunk compartment that would allow for a module to be connected too. Also looking through my Haynes manual at the wiring diagrams it appears that the cars with keyless entry were wired different or had a different harness installed in them. If I am unable to install a factory module, if I were to buy the rear section of an original wiring harness from a car that had keyless entry would it be a nightmare to install? I guess what I want to know is how far up does the rear section of one of these harnesses go forward before plugging into the rest of the harness? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Just get ur self a viper or another type of aftermarket alarm. not realy worht the hassle otherwise.
