suspension opinions needed!
been a while since i posted in here ....anybody here have any experience with a front coilover and rear torque arm (basically 3 link conversion) set-up?
here's the thing, right now i have some old crappy tired 2" drop springs and some tokico illuminas, i want to either go with a MM front coilover (with hypercoil springs) with the torque arm/panhard bar/removed uppers/high rate spings in the rear, OR...just get a set of H&R springs and be done with it (race or super sport). i'm just wondering if the 3 link+coilovers is really worth the extra $$$ (about a grand more). i do most my riding on the street, so i want it to be comfortable, also want it to handle well and be able to launch decent at the track. any help is appreciated.

i was thinking of goign with that 3 link set up for my car... i here that it with the torque arm especially it increases tracking on lauunching but im not sure. I had a 98 cobra with kenney brown panhard bar, shocks, springs control arms, the thing handled amazing, and was comfortable (but you cant really coompare the 2)

I installed that same set up on a friends '88 LX, but he wanted a corner carver and it does that with spades. He has taken to the drag strip aonce or twiceand it hurt his 60' times. If you are wanting a car that will reallycornerwell that is about the best way to do it. If you want increased traction at the drag strip don't spend the money, go another route.
