Default gt40s?

hello, my buddy's friend has a set of gt40 heads is there any way i can tell on the heads if they are gt40s? because i dont want to buy the gt40p or any of the other ones i need just the gt40s. How can i find out, thanxxx

says gt-40 in the valvetrain area where the springs are and spark plugs go in just like e7's not straight on like P'S i believe

See the 4 bars at the LH bottom........GT40's have 3 bars instead of the 4 below (= GT40p's)

which heads would work with my headers off my 302. im not sure about these heads the spark plug positions are different on one pair. which heads would work with my shorty headers? because id like to usethe gt40p heads i have.

Also GT-40s have the letters GT etched in them

has GTP etched in them

I used BBK headers with my GT40P's, I just had to use a 90* spark plug wire on #7 cylinder.
