t-5 identification help
i need help trying to identify what year t-5 i have its frommy friends dads car.
is there some kind of ID tag on the trans that will help me identify the year of the trans

ya there is an ID tag.
check under the lower left extension-to-case screw.

the top right of the tag should have the 5 digitcode for the build date.

it'll start out as 13 52-1XX.....the last set of 3 digets indicates year t-5 and it's all over the internet on registries onhow to decode

are you sure about the code because mine says 13 52-169
