Default back firing through carb

it's back firing through the carb would the carburetor make it does this, i know timing would but i've moved it all over tryng to get it right and i change the distributor cap andchecked the plugs the car sounds fine at a idle, i rebuilt the carb myself first time that's why i was thinking carb. If not the carb what else should i check.

The carb could be causing problems but did you remove the distributor and put it back in. While carb is running check for leaks at idle but it really sounds like a timing problem.
