i have a 86 mustang and i 85 5.0 HO motor do i use a 86 harness or a 85 ???????????
all you need to do is use the 85 long block and bolt all the efi stuff from the 86 onto it and you'll be fine..just make sure if the 85 motor is from a carb car to block off the fuel pump hole in the timing cover
yea 86s are EFI and 85s werent so the harnesses are vastly different use your 86 components and like mjr said get the fuel pump block off off the 86 motor and put it on the new one
