I would check with what Adder said, you mayhave acracked plug. Start the car in a dark area and check to see if you have spark where it should not be.
I'm glad you caught that.... considering 94/95's had E7 heads.....

I'd say your tapping is probably from the plugs arcing. check gap & inspect the plugs. If they're good inspect the plug wires.

Yeah for some reason I was thinking GT-40 heads and them I removed my head head from rear after I posted.
