Default Stick to auto trans swap??

I want to remove my stockT5trans and install a C4auto in my 91 GT.
The car is a factory 5 spd and it has an aluminum drive shaft.

What is involved to get the auto trans mounted and connected to the drive shaft or is it a simple swap, plug and play deal?

I am in the process of doing this swap right now here is a list of what I have ordered so far:

Redneck C4 Transmission with 3500 Stall converter and transbrake
TCI small bellhousing
157tooth 50oz balanced flexplate
Perma-cool trans cooler
6an transmission cooler lines
Dipstick
TCI lighting shifter

My understanding is the factory drive shaft will fit, but I will confirm this next weekend when I actually make the swap.

I am putting in a redneck c4 with 3500 stall also.
Dont forget you will need another block plate/dust cover that goes on behind the flexplate. Since the t5 block plate will leave a pretty good size gap at the bottom. I ordered one from summit that will be here tommarow then i can put my transmission in.

I was wondering about that, do you have a part number for it? Also how fast did Redneck get the transmission out to you?

If you look around there are a few good tech article floating around on the net on how to do this. Do some google searches, I'm sure that you will find something.

I want to sell everything together when I pull it out (flywheel, centerforce clutch, trans and shifter). I'm keeping the clutch pedal in the car for now though. The trans has maybe a mile on it since I rebuilt it. The clutch was used with a new disc and throwout bearing.

I took the car apart and rebuilt everything including the trans 3 years ago and the car has been sitting in the garage ever since.
I sort of lost interest in it for a while. LOL
With the power I have I'm just going to destroy the T5. I should be able to build an automatic trans a lot cheaper than buying a Tremec and all the pieces to make it work.
Since I've decided to make the car strip onlyrunning the automatic will be more consistent any way.
