Default OH NO !!!!!!

I was puting my engine back together last night after doing a cam swap and larger valve springs (engine still in the car) and stupid me, I didnt cover the lifter holes and of course I had to go and drop a keeper down one of the holes. It went past the cam, so did it go into the oil pan? I really dont have time to pull the motor, can I just install a magnetic plug and hope to get it out with the next oil change? Or am I pretty much screwed?

Thanks guys

^ agree pull the pan.. I would drain the oil. Put a magnet on the outside of the pan and try to get the keeper over at least to the hole to confirm (you may need a strong magnet). Then pull the pan and take it out. It sucks but you want it to be right!!
