Default I need help finding a lower intake for my box

I have a cartech upper box intake and i am looking for a better flowing lower that has the stock port configuration. Not the staggered like the gt40 or square like the truck, but the ovals in a line. I want to run my nitrous system, but I am afraid of the uneven flow of the stock lower.

Are there any aftermarket lowers that still have the stock port configuration?

I keep hearing that it should be the gt40 ports, but I talked to the guy down at Cartech a month or 2 ago and he didn't sound surprised when I told him what I had. It is on the car and running. It says Cartech 5.0 right on the top. Normally I would have passed it up but for $80 it was hard to say no.

So I take it that there is no other option for me?

It takes the stock gasket and lines up to the stock intake.

How bad is the stock intake? Does anybody port them, IF that is my only option.

Yes CarTech did make a box upper for the stock lower, so did Comp Polymers. The only after market lower is the Holley Systemax #1, it has the stock port locations. It has not been manufatured in some time and it is hard to come by. Your best bet (and would probalby yeild more hp) is get a Tmoss ported stock lower: www.tmossporting.com/

Thank you. I have been searching for a few days and came up empty. I'll check them out.

i would consider having the lower extrude honed.

it's pricey... but trust me, you'll see where that money went. like a mirror when they are done w/ it

i have a composite power box intake and it is matched the the intake ports of stock lower, what i did was...

pulled lower and had it ported and polished, then sand blasted it and had it powder coated black to match the upper,
works and looks awsome., cost me $75 for the port/polish job and $20 for the sandblast powdercoat job and i could not be happyer with looks/performance
