Default More issues with my O2 sensors.

Ok I'm totally lost. I have a 95 5.0 and I keep having different people tell me different ****. Ok IF I have a off-road x-pipe will it keep messing up my 02 sensors because I don't have cats? Becase supposively people are telling me now that it's the reason why mine are bad now because I have a stock h-pipe with the cats removed. I have a bunch of people keep telling me this and it's making me feel like an idiot because I keep hearing different crap. I don't know alot about mechanical stuff yet but I'm still learning and THESE PEOPLE AREN"T HELPING!!! Ok I also heard I don't need to buy o2 sensors since I'm buying the off-road pipe because they have something that you hook up in there place? I just spent 210 on oxygen sensors and I need to know if I need them or not so I can take them back if so. Your help would be greatly appreciatedSo if you couild just throw what you know out there.

It would help knowing what year you're talking about....... anyway...

If Mustang is '86 - '95 5.0L (OBD-I)........ nope, the system does not use "downstream O2 sensors = you don't need them......provided you don't have problmes with the existent O2 sensors caused by other problems. If the year is '96+ (OBD-II)..... you will need a set of "MIL eliminators" for the "downstream" (post-catalytic converters) O2 sensors.

lol sorry I fixed it. So you're saying I don't need 02 sensors at all? There are 4 right or your saying I don't need the bottom 2?

Nope..... you need the (2) OEM sensors (=upstream) '95 SN95's use..... The (4) O2 sensors are only applicable to OBD-II systems..... the '95 5.0L setup is OBD-I, but you need the existent O2 sensors (located in the shorties collector).
