Will any 302 dist fit and work in any302 as long as you install the right gear to match the cam?

Compare the 2 dist shafts from gear to end the efi model is longer why?

just means more of the shaft will be seated in the dizzy..but what are you trying to do and maybe I can tell you what application you need to purchase.

95 5.0 carb conversion w/hei dist, I just want to be sure my oil pump will be driven correctally, I think I'm going to shove some modeling clay into the shaft end and install it...see if it pushes the clay up the shaft.

when you say HEI are you musing a GM style dizzy with integral coil in cap?? or ford duraspark set up??

just make sure you have a steel gear installed on the hei dizzy for a roller cam motor
