my 8: rear has a 3.43 (or is it 3.40, hell i cant remember) and i was looking @ a 3.80
for driving 45-55 around town its alright, but i wouldnt wanna jump on the interstate with a 3.73 or lower gear without overdrive.

4.30 yes, I agree for the track only...You will over heat your trans with any long drive. 4.11 would be the max if you are still a streeter.

4:10's are installed and the launch is insane, my 60' is 1.8!... ill be switching between the 3:55's and the 4:10's depending on what im doing that week, only takes me 45mins to switch out the gears
