89 5.0 Mustang

alright so i jus installed my steeda tri ax shifter and i have a 95 cobra by the way with the t5. It is great and i love it all around town, and i am getting used to the whine and all but i took it on the high way today and about 10 mins of cruising around 65 to 70 mph in 5th gear it starts making this sound like somethin is scraping on something, then i get off the high way and like u can here it still hear all of the gears spinning inside up unitl u get to about 20mph. Then it doesnt do it all on the road goin like 45 to 55 in 5th and all. And on the high way it will start in about like 10 mins into the drive.

i know i set up my shift stops right withthe right amount of air gap so its not like its in gear so i really dont know wat it could be

should i be worried about my tranny getting to hot cause it still shifts fine the same way its always been but i dont know.

so does anyone know wat it could be or if they had it happen wat it was for tehm?

when did this prob occur?? right after shifter install??

its hard to tell cause with the stock shifter there is all of the rubber stuff so u cant hear anything then u can hear it now with the shifter

i thought i set my stops correctly too with the MGW

after a week they somehow moved and it started grinding in the morning

took out the stops, no more grind.. T5 has built in stops anyway

but its not really girnding it sounds nothin like that its almost like u can hear everything in the tranny spinning but its louder then when you first get on the high way, like i said it just gets loud after driving for liike 10 mins at 65 70 mph
