Default cam help

i was looking into a custom cam but im not 100% sure wat im doing with my engine down the road. so now im back to looking at shelf cams. im wondering if you guys have and suggestions on which cam to choose. its a 408 stroker with vc jr heads, trickflow r intake 10:1 srp dishtop pistons and 1.6 rockers. its gunna be raced a lot..but id still like it to be able to idle at a light. any input would be appriciated.[/align]

My cam is custom grind and specs are 588/622 and dur @ .050 is 246/259. It is very streetable as long as your tuned good. I idle between 775-850 rpms. Granted i dont drive it that often becuase i only get 6 mpg [:@]. And i'm carbed.

well id like it to be streetable..its not a weekend or track car. technically its my DD cuz i only have one car. but i prob only drive it 3 times a week. especially now with the 408 and gas prices lol. but id like for it to be able to idle at a light and drive on hte highway and still pack a punch.
