Clutch cable Q's...
I was looking at stuff on clutch cables earlier and found something I thought I would check with you guys on.
I saw on another forum where they were saying that adjustable cables were junk and to just use a stock cable with a firewall adjuster ON AFTER MARKET QUADS.
Question is, when my adjustable cable broke last week I threw a stock ford cable on it, w/o an adjuster and it was too short(got it hooked up and clutch was slipping), and was stretched far enough in 2 days that it wouldn't even disengage the clutch. So if it goes on and its too short what good is a stock cable doing you?
How does this work especially considering the stock cable says that if you use it with an aftermarket quad that IT WILL BREAK???
