Default Best way to change the PCV valve?

well, i got a new one today, never been changed... 111k miles well, i see its tucked up under the intake nicely just to make it a pain to get to it! is there any tricks to getting it off? or is it just beter to pull the intake? thanks a lot guys!

just put your hand behind the intake, and follow the hose, it comes out at the back of the driver valve cover area. then pull it up, the hose will turn when u pull up on it.
just make sure the gromet stays in there, it doesnt matter if it comes out, just dont lose it.

are you removing the actual valve or just the screen? either way, you can do it without taking the manifold off. you should be able to just reach down there and pull it out

when you pull out the PCV valve you should pullout the grommet and pull the screen out thats below it and clean the crap out of it bc it will probably very dirty

You should replace the screen also. Pull the pcv out then the grommet and you can use a bent paper clip to pull the screen out

that is why i love my carb. car my PCV is right up front on the front part of the driver side valve cover
