Default RE: Need help with misfire.

I think I found it. I got to looking at my timing when I put the distributor back in and I noticed that when I turned it clockwise I think the car ran better. I have a line on my balancer at 10 and it was about 4 degress above my pointer(was told this was advanced). I then moved it to about 4 degress below the pointer and the car ran great. Havent gotten a chance to road test it yet though (grass is too hot to drive across it). I hope thats all it was. Leads me to think it was since my manual said the white plugs could have beena timing issue.
