so i was putting in my new injectors and when i took off my upper intake there was oil coated all over the back 4 intake holes

yup, seems like every 5.0 does it, its from the pcv, oil gets through it from the crankcase, to the lower intake, to the pcv then to the intake. if you dont use it, you get excessive crankcase pressure, blow gaskets, and will have sludge buidup. its normal, mine had alot after a rebuild, new and old motors have it.

don't worry about it, that's where the pcv is drawing in crankcase vapors

^^^^^because that's where the port for the vaccum draw is for the pcv....think about it the bulk of vapors will be drawn in by the runners closest to the source and as it gets further away from source runners won't draw as much
