RE: F@cKed Something up with nitrous
It got too hot. The plug with the missing ground strap has a yellowish tinge on the insulator. That's telltale of high speed glazing. Burnt valves, fried rings, holed pistons etc. You fried something from running too hot. It either leaned out or you had too much timing or too low of a fuel octane or too hot a plug, something. Do a compression check, you'll prolly find low compression(or none) on that cylinder.

yeah you leaned it out for sure.
w/ the whole plug melted...you probably burned a piston
and to the previous posers... not a typo.... learn something so u don't sound so dumb
wet or dry would not have made a diff... actually doing that on a wet kit he would have probably lost his intake hood too. and lean is lean... why does nitrous make a diff on a daily driver ?

I've seen plenty of n/a daily drivers burnt up for the exact same reason. Lean is lean and hot is hot, regardless of what causes it.

For whatever reason i dont think my fan was coming on when i was racing, and i noticed my temp was high, but not in the red. I would say about 3/4 way up the gauge. A compression test is what i need, but looks like i might have some costly repairs in the near future[:@]

RE: F@cKed Something up with nitrous
your fan won't come into play as the air moving across the radiator is far more cfm than the fan can ever draw..irregardless your motor or head is toast[:@]

Compression test... +1. Something melted and Im willing to bet you hava nice prettyround hole in that piston. You need to investigate though, b/c continuing to run it will only make matters worse. You might be able to get away with just putting in a new piston it thats what it is. In my opinion, when you tear it down... stroke the hell out of it!
