damn cky!

your caris one of my fav's on this site!

i would deff get the check asap, and then go from there.

prob going to have to pull the engine, disassemble, and get everything looked at, rebuild (stroke) and go from there.

i hope its nothing to bad though, sorry to hear about this[]

Ok did the compression test...

Cylinder # 7 had only 60psi and cylinder #8 yielded a heart-warming 0 psi

And this is after rebuilding 2 transmissions just in time for summer!

Im taking the heads off tomorrow. Its 90* here and im just too tired to start on that now. Any ideas what might be wrong with #7?

Tore her down even though it was 90*, but i was sick of wondering. Looks like the exhaust valves on 7&8 are hit. The pistons look absolutely fine, i cant explain #8 having 0 compression.I must have not threaded the testing in all the way?[&:]Any reasonfor this?

^they got a little wet

yes i was gunna say looks liek you have a blown head gasket. so the reason for no compression in number 8 was because you took out the number 7 plug first and did a compression test. then you pulled the plug for 8 and did a compression test so all the pressure leaked to the 7 cylinder and out the spark plug hole giving you 0 compression

I completely missed that head gasket! I guess i just wasn't paying attention to that. But ok, so a blown head gasket isnt even that bad. Ive heard of it happening with larger shots of nitrous.

and smaller too, the head gasket may have saved you a piston.

glad thats all it was, don't be scred of the juice after that little mishap

looks like a easy fix and that would explain the huge loss in power to boot and running/idling poorly!

one suggestion. upgrade to a wet shot, its much safer than a dry shot and more efficiant.
