Default fuel pump help

im in the process of putting together a 90 8cyl conversion car. i just installed a summit efi fuel pump with relay. there wiring i believe is correct and i used the wires from the stock pump for the new pump that is connected to relay. the pump does not turn on when i turn key. where should i start??

Do you have a schematic? I would start at the place that the power originates from. Also check your inertia switch.

The inertia switch should be in hatch/trunk area on the driver side/make shure that its pressed down..

Did the old fuel pump kick on when you did the swap? Did you use a donor car and swap all the wiring harnesses? When I did my first swap the fuel pump wouldn't kick on because I didn't use the wiring harnesses from the same year vehicle. Hopefully you had a donor car and swapped the main, engine and dash harness. If not, you can jump the green/yellow wire in the drivers side kick panel to something hot when the key is turned on. Not sure if this is your problem but that's what happened to me. Hope this helped and you figure it out!

im doing the swap without a donor car. i bought a 90 harness off ebay its def the right one because it has the white air bag clips....

and the green/yellow wire is that on the dash harness? im not sure what you mean on jumping it tho because i still want it to prime the system when key is first clicked over.
