Blue smoke from header when reving engine??
When I rev the engine by hand from the TB I can see blue smoke pouring out on revs only I cannot see any at idle. This looks to be from the very back of the head. looks like its comming from the header but not sure what else it could be.

Exhaust leaking from exhaust manifold to header flange. Nothing else it really could be. If you have aftermarket headers chances are you didnt tighten the back bolt down all the way, its a pain in the ***. Hopefully your manifolds allow the use of a socket on that back bolt, I had to use an open end tiny *** wrench.

There is alot of oil around the back of the head like it is soaked on both sides and the top of the header flanges are stained with oil is is possible my valve covers are leaking enough to cause smoke. The manafolds are stock aswell and I haven't had them off, I can also hear a ticking from the opposite side aswell.

If oil was burning on the header it would smoke at idle as well as higher rpms, which is not the case. But yea I would say replace that valve cover gasket regardless if its the problem or not, which it probably is, and then go from there.
