Default Exhaust?????????

I have a question guys, ive been looken to buy an off road x-pipe but was thinking about smog. My mustang has 4 cats now the off road ones dont have cats so i was woundering can i have these and pass smog or not????

I think your going to have a real hard time passing without cats. You could install your off-road x and keep your stock h pipe to swap at emissions time or get a high flow catted x pipe and be done.

thats what i've always done, i do that with my fox and my sn, just keep the stock one around, the highflow cats will crap out faster than the stock ones by a long shot. so bolt up the o/r piepe and when emmissions time comes around pull out the old cats
