Default anyone know how to fix the seats?

i have a 89 lx vert and the seats will not lock from going forward. as in if someone is in the back seat they canlean the seat forward without pushing the button on the back of the seat. i assume this is common is there a fix?

Someone correct me if I am wrong but fox seats are supposed to go forward without the button. The botton is there for when the car is on a steep grade when the seat locks.

im not sure i think the seats should lock and you need the switch to push them forward but then again i have never seen a set actually work right. mine dont even spring forward when you pull the adjuster on the side i have to pull them to where i want them

the switch isnt just there for looks?!?! honestly every fox seat i've Ever seen had that problem. my solution i went and got sn seats for my fox, i cut the power wires under the seat and got the pigtail from the car i pulled the seats from and made the power seats work and i never had an issue with those not working

to be honest dude i don't think i have EVER seen stock fox seats actually work. they just plain suck. like redpony88 said get some sn seats. i got some from a 95 stronger seat tracks as well and no mods needed to bolt into the floor
