Can I use the EGR Electrial plug??

I'm takin the EGR out of the circuit and i didn't want to leave the connection open. Can i use the electrical portion of the EGR Valve and discard the metal valve and use the electrical connection to fool the computer???

no need to even do that.. when unhooked and unplugged and removed the ecm automatically deletes the egr function

....if you don't have a functional Check Engine Light (CEL), based on your user name (whitestang86)..... and you don't have a CEL indicator to look at, no need to do that.... the failure code that is be logged will be the same with or w/out the electrical connection installed.
