Default 150 Shot On Stock 95 Cobra?

I'm getting ready to install my old NX Single Nozzle Wet nitrous system on my 95 cobra. Everyone says it will be fine even without a tune, but nobody bothered to mention about the hyperutectic pistons. I heard that even a 100 shot could melt them. I'm New to the SN95'shave no experience with them at all. I can't even ask advise from people around me because nobody has one. I know the early year fox's will handle a 150 no problem but not sure about the 94-95's.

PLEAS HELP!!!!!!!

150 is right on the fence for a stock engine, but as long as the TUNE is right and you are not using it every time you get in the car, the engine should hold up fine. One thing to remember you have hyper pistons and the TUNE is even more important. You must retard you timing to use NO2, the safe setting is 2deg for every 50hp = 6deg. And get into the habit of reading your plugs, they will tell you if you are safe or not with the TUNE.

I know to run 2 step colder plugs and pull out timing and can tell if detonating or if its too lean or rich by reading the plugs but will the pistons hold up to 125-150 shot safely?

If it was an 88-92 with forged pistons I wouldn't even be asking these questions.

Yes, but I heard of people runing 200 shot on hyperutectic pistons. Thats not safe but still been done before.

Can't say I have done it myself with hyper's. There are many that have repoted doing it, some have problems some don't. Most of the time NO2 failure is attributed to tune.

It will be hard for someone to straight out tell you, you can. To quote Claude: "sorry, but i'm only qualified to wreck my own junk, not someone elses."

I don't know about a 200 shot, but I would stay with a 100 shot and have it tuned pronto.

I've put 150hp to hypereutectics for 3 years and never had a problem. It's not a big deal. I've never had a chip burned for nitrous cars either. All the tuning is timing and fuel pressure.
