Ok so I just bought a 1992 lx vert 5.0 I had a friend go pick it up for me. I went to pick it up from him and started the car and pulled it out of the garage and it shut off and I could not get it to start back up. There is no pressure at the Schrader valve. I checked the fuel pump shut off switch by the driver’s side taillight and it was ok. When the key is cycled the fuel pump is not running.
Update:
I thought the battery was getting weak so I hooked up the charger and the fuel pump comes on when the key is cycled. Take the charger off and the pump wont work. Put a new battery in and it still won’t work unless the charger is hooked up.

I put a fuel pressure gauge on at the Schrader valve. When the charger is on the pressure goes up to 41psi but it does it very slowly and the pump does not shut off after this psi is reached. You can hear a clicking at the fuel rails. I guess it is the injectors. But it still won’t start.
Any help? This thing is driving me crazy not running.

you say you got a new battery?? not a used one right??....check all connections and grounds..without the charger on and battery hooked up ,turn the headlights on..are they bright and on??

I had a problems like yours ort of. When i first bought my stang a few months back I always heard the fuel pump running. Constantly running. I never gave it a second thought. Well i knew the relays rarely go bad soi went a head and tried it, and of course not a relay. Well when i changed the relay i noticed someone before me had a jumper wire in the relay tomake it run constantly when the key was forward. Well to make a long story short it wanst the relay but the box that the relay goes into. These are known to go bad on the fords and i went to the local junk yard and got one (seems they are scarace) for free and fixed it right up. Hope this helps you in your case.

Put in a new fuel pump and still nothing. Relay, Computer, Any Idea????? Pump runs continous but will not come on until I shake the relay.

so the problem is a cranks but won't start right???? not a won't crank issue?? right

Yes it will crank and will not start.

Just so I understand, when you shake the relay under the seat you hear the pump come on, this is with the key on right?
If this is correct it sounds like the wiring or the pins are loose\damaged, read bjlo4life's post.
