Default Battery draining

I know the battery is good. For one it is new, and two, I had it tested to make sure. I just had the alternator tested (still on the motor) and nocharging. Can a bad voltage regulator cause a battery to drain over two days? And if it is bad I know why it won't charge. Do these things have a tendencey to go bad? Mine is a 92 model. I did a search on this, but it keeps saying no matches. I even just tried the word alternator and nothing.

if your alternator tested bad/not charging then replace it and rerun the test

sounds like something is draining the battery maybe an aftermarket cd player, fog lights, or amp.

I found where the draining is coming from, but have not pin pointed ityet. It is coming from my lighting harness. I pulled all the fuses that pertain to it and it did not stop it. So it is some where between the power source and where it connects going into the firewall. Boy, it sucks with the timing of this, have a power drain and an alternator that has gone bad.

looking for a parasitic drain you should have a ammeter/ multimeter hooked in series with the neg battery cable and pull fuses until you have a drain of less than 50 milliamp..spec should be somewhere between 25-50 milliamp draw at rest and when testing..make sure all doors are closed and trunk shut and under hood light unplugged..cause these will give you a false positive test result.....and try unhooking charge wire when performing test too to make sure the alt isn't shorted internally causing draw
