I need a 10second streetable car.
I've got a stock 1990 GT 5.0.......i know an engine swap is probly due, probly a 351W or bigger. The reason i need a 10 second streetable car is so i can be the fast car in my car club, current fastest is my friends 98 LS1 Camaro, stock as of now but he'll be putting out 800+hp soon, so i need to stomp his *** somehow. Any suggestions?!

well they are two VERY different beasts. If you go nitrous you can just build a solid 351W and call it a day with a 150 shot. Mind you that you will absolutely need tons of supporting mod's. With a nice bank account, a combination of well designed/proven parts and a 150 shot, a 10 second car isnt too hard to accomplish (comming from someone who has never built one lol) but seriously, I talk/know alot of people with 10 second setups that are pretty bolt on h/c/i 351's with nitrous a

You obviously have no idea what it takes to get a car into the 10's, let alone have a 10 secon driver. You should seriously consider starting off small, with some basic mods, and get used to it. You need to get the idea out of your head of being the fastest guy. There's ALWAYS someone faster than you.

dont do just nitrous either...you'll go from a 10 second car on the bottle to a 12-13 second car when it runs out...do a nice build up heads custom cam intake..maybe a bigger block..347 stroker or maybe a 351? take 67mustang's advice start small and build up..my 89 gt went from stock 302 to a 308 with heads,cam,intake full bolt ons...just needs a tune ( which its getting) only thing i can do now is boost it...spray it..or go with a bigger motor
