Gotta change my water neck gasket on my 93GT, did this once a long time ago and I remember it is a pain because of the distributor. Any body have any tricksto make it easier? Don't really want to pull the distributor, it's the drivers side bolt that is the killer.

Never had to move the dizzy or take it out. Use 1/4in drive sockets.

it can be a little tight but not all that bad.. no real tricks to it..just remove the bypass hose and 2 bolts and pull it off......just grab a new gasket and t-stat and lightly coat it with rtv for a sure seal and reassemble

best way to make sure the t-stat stays in place is to rtv the waterneck put the t-stat inplace on it and then put the gasket on and let it dry enough so you can put the housing back on with out the stat falling
