You can, you will need the front and rear bumper aswell or it will look like ****. The skirts are held on with a horizontial bracket that is riveted to the car and screws along the bottom.

for an lx to look decent with such..like mentioned above.. you really need the complete GT package like front and rear bumper covers

You really need to get the full GT body kit to make it look like it is supposed to be there. I have the GT skirts and a GT rear with the LX front. (not because I installed it, I bought it that way). The front only looks good because there arent any stupid cut outs or fog lights, but the molding looks hacked where the front meets the side skirts because the lines don't match. You can only really notice it if you know what GT foxes are supposed to look like, or if you have a good eye for body work. Most everyday car guys like the look, and would never even know the difference from 10 feet away. The back looks good from behind as well as from the side. It lines up perfectly. But as much as I hate the GT front bumper look, it might be the better choice if you want the sides to look right.

Go with the Cobra skirts (do require changing the moldings) or the saleens. The GT's just don't look right to me. Or you can just fix your rust problem instead of trying to hide it
