Default Alumn Driveshaft ???

Are there any benefits to an alumninum shaft other than the weight difference? I just picked up a brand new one for 100$. I couldn't pass it up for that price.

the advantage is less mass to rotate which means quicker revs. but for 100 bucks is a nice steal. good job

normally you dont notice a diff with just the drive shaft, but in combination of lightweight rotating assem. alum flywheel(or any lightweight for that matter) and alum drive shaft = high and quick revs.

Good to know. Yeah a guy locally here bought it for his car but then sold the car. So he never installed it. It is a Ford Racing brand.
