Default puttinga AOD behind a motor that has a pilot bearing in it still?

do i have to remove the pilot bearing or will my converter bottom hit?

Ummmm, I believe you will not be using the same flywheel. Don't autos run flex plates? Ummm yeah!

You have to take the pilot bearing out of the crank. I pulled mine out last week tried bolting up the transmisisoncouldn't get the transmission snug against the motor, pulled the tranny out of the way and realized only the center section ofthe pilot bearing came out the outer section was still in the crank.

haha yea this is why i dont wanna mess with it. and i figured why remove it when i will get a t5 for the vert eventually anyways. well i geuss ill try the grease and old inputshaft from my old t5 to get it out or rent the tool i geuss. and yeah like he said it sits in the crank not flywheel like most other cars. i picked up this motor with no flywheel and notice the pilot was in it, wish it was in a flywheel that removes nice and easy
