Best Cam For Bolt-On 95 Cobra
I want to put a cam in my 95 cobra but it needs to work well with the stock GT40 heads and cobra intake. I want something with a bit of duration to have a good choppy idle, but yet still be able to clear the stock pistons with the 1.7 RR's.
I was thinking like the TFS stage 1 or the Ford E-303, but someone might know of a better one than these.

I was probably going to go with the Steeda #19 but that's a ways off since I'm a bit poor ATM . I'm still up for suggestion though and there's plenty of guys here with GT-40 stuff to lend some input.

Because the Cobra has GT40 heads and intake adding a cam can give you some nice gains. Keep in mind though that you'll probably need a tune so it runs smooth and you'll want one to get the most power out of the setup.

I would leave the stocker in there and put in better valve springs (which you need for ANY cam swap). This will allow you to actually rev the motor higher and take advantage of the better flowing heads and intake you have. I have had stock cam/GT40 cars go into the 11's (with weight reduation) and near full weight cars run mid 12's easy. Plus the car will run like stock and not have any idle issues.
