Are your lugs too long?
It's going back a few years but I used to have a 70 Road Runner with Weld Draglites. I do recall them being a bit of a noisey rim.
Aluminum bends pretty easily. You might be hearing them move around.

they click because they dont get torqued down and the center just flops inside the hollow spokes

im thinking this is the case, as when ever i have taken the wheels off (2-3times sence ive had the car to look for this noise) ive only tightend them as hard as i could with a tire iron.
they used a huge tourqe bar, but im not sure what it was set at when they put the rims back on my car.
I HAVE HAD NO CLICKING SENCE THAT DAY THEY PUT THE RIM'S BACK ON
sence these rim's are light weight/thin, is it possible that tighting them so tight might be bad for them?
im going to shoot Weld racing a e-mail right now, asking them the proper size lug nut, about if they will crack/break if i tighten them to tight, and about the clicking.
ill let you know what they tell me when ever they get back to me.
