Default Best Heads For Stock 5.0/Turbo?

I was just wondering what kind of heads would work best on a stock 1990 5L engine. I want to get a set of heads that will flow well and dont need any special prep to the pistons ect. The engine will be completely stockwith a 60mm turbo. Thx for any info.

i third that. I have afr 165cc, but for turbo I would go with afr 185cc. I dont know if the 205's will work and they may be to big.

With the Afr do you have to do anything or can you just bolt them on to the stock engine? I want something that can work with a bone stock engine. Ive read in a few different articles that the Trickflows have clearence problems. Anyone have experience with Edelbrock heads. I have had a few pple tell me that they work great on a stock 5.0

I beleive, but I could be wrong, so someone correct me if I am. the 90 pistons allready have valve releives cut. But as in any head replacement I would recheck clearance to make sure it is ok. A thicker head gasket can help with clearance a little.

alright second time tonite the trickflows are the only head u can run bigger cams on the 5.0's without notching the pistons.

and i run tw's on my 306 and i would buy trickflow over edelbrock anyday not that theres nothing wrong with them just what i would chose and so will others

tw's or afr 165's for stock block turbo wou;ld both be good trickflow for me.

Trickflow. Do it right the first time. The Twisted Wedges will be with you the life of your car. You think factory TW's are awesome, try them out with a nice port job. [sm=badbadbad.gif] Just about every other way you go, your stuck with what you got.
