Default Possible Electrical Short

88 GT was sitting unattended and horn started blowing for no apparent reason. No alarm on car. Also, I now notice the speed control doesn't work, rear deck brake lite is out. There items are on a different fused circuit(fuse not blown). Could the Ignition switch which goes/went bad and had a recall, cause a failure such as this? I'm a little puzzled at the moment. Anyone had a combined problem such as this. Thanks for any assistance.

Default RE: Possible Electrical Short

I doubt there is a short..what happens on those older foxes is on the circular horn pad the foam layer inside deteriorates and the contacts touch sounding the horn
