Default Stalling problem

Ok, so I start up my car, if I down shift into 2nd upon stopping and then put it into neutral... the car dies.... It'll run good tho... Now, i stop at a store, start her up again, and she dies, I gotta keep her running with pedal... and then its fine. IT's starting to **** me off bc i'm having to either crank her more often AND/OR pop start... I hate that ****.
It basically has a surging idle and a stalling problem... the only thing thats not new, is the IAC.... mmm? my TPS voltage reads .98....

JUST a little side thing... My mechanic did a low emissions test on it, and the problem went away for about 15 driven miles... I think he disconnected a few things, lowered the timing, bc with four cats in didn't pass... and here are the results:

first results::

CO% x liters ........ 1.1 limit ; test value .3 PASS

HC ppm x liters .... 275 limit ; test value 710 -FAIL

NO ppm x liters ..... 3600 limit ; test value 605 PASS

Second results:

CO% x liters ........ 1.1 limit ; test value .05 PASS

HC ppm x liters .... 275 limit ; test value 245 -PASS

NO ppm x liters ..... 3600 limit ; test value 3550 PASS

RPMS were around 2238

(mind you I didn't ask him to fix this problem.. the problem was getting my car to pass - irrelevant tho)

honestly, today i'm just gonna take my IAC off (clean it), see if I need to replace it.....
clean the throttle body opening with carb cleaner too....
Take off my MAF senser and clean that as well with a Q-tip.....

anddddd then I'll prob just do an Idle Setting Procedure just foor the hell of it....

the question i have isssss... do u have to use carb cleaner?... can it be something else that I already have??

yeah u got it..... except I have the b-cam... more fair idle...

I wouldn't run anything weaker than the edelbrock performer...... the cobra intake is good... but i think mine lets more air in.

i'd go with the ecam.... but, your going to have to constantly be tinkering with the idle on these crate motors... well, only if your doing a lot of driving.
