I am going to be installing a set of shorty headers on my 1990 GT convertable. I installed a off road h-pipe a few months ago and it sucked. I dont want totake that off untilI have to!!!!!! I have two questions

1. Will I need to take off the h-pipe to install the headers?

2. Can I do most of the work swapping headers from the top?

You can do about 99% of the work from the top the only reason to go underneath the car is to unbolt the h pipe from your stock manifolds other than that you can just leave it hanging
