hey guys i put a set off march pulleys on my 1990 5.0 lx and the belt is loose what can i do.

Ummmmm just a guess but get a shorter belt?

shorter belt sorry i know its a dumb question, i only ask because a friend told me that i hadto drill the tensioner and then get the shorter belt

Well, if all the pullies are in the same location, why would you need to drill the tensioner?

And drill it where? My tensioner has a boss around the pulley hole and the threads are left handed. At the other end on the mounting bracket there are 2 holes that the tensioner arm has to line up with. One for the pivot and the other for the spring to be held captive.

You might want to call March before you start drilling holes...

I put a set of BBK pully's on and thought the same thing but just had the belt routed wrong.
