I put mine on the passengers side in the rear and ran the wire under my carpet through the firewall

ahhhhh..that'll only matter if you bracket race and the track is ****...Mason dixon has never flagged me on such so I guess I'll keep on using it

It is not hard to do put a tube in the box and run one end through the floor. done.

shouldI run the cable under the car or under the carpet??? going carpet through the firewall seems easyer. I wouldnt have to lift my car.

I ran mine under the carpet along side the rocker pannel and out the hole where the ecu used to be when my 85 was cfi

personaly, I'd run it out side. There is a lot of current going through it during a start and if it chaffed under the carpet and shorted, it could start a fire.

I ran mine out side the car. down the driver side the hit the solenoid in the left fender wheel well. but if I had mounted the kill switch inside the car I may have run it inside the car but I put ours in the bumper right in front of the tag between the tail lights on that small flat area.

So what kind of kill switch would I need and where is everyone mounting it??? I was one that was mid bumper and one on the side of the tail light.

Here is a pic of mine. Studs were welded to the floor then bolted to box. It's vented to the outside and has a cutoff switch.
