Default Radiator Annoyance - Mishimoto

I bought a Mishimoto Radiator for my 90' and upon tightening the original/stock brackets I noticed they wouldn't workkkkkk. Well, I know that this is a common problem that comes with getting an aftermarket radiator, and then you usually need to get new/different brackets for correct installation. The thing is - this radiator appears to be a bolt-on/direct replacement, and noticed these raised "bar" looking things that LOOK like their there FOR the original brackets (more easily seen in the pic of the rad. cap close-up)::::

::::And, I'm noticing that one bracket catches/tightens better than the other. Second, one side of the radiator is lower than the other.

MY conclusion is that the two rubber pieces underneath the radiator are deteriorated and need to be replaced - causing it to sag??? The fan even works with this thing.

So is this basically a rant or is there a question here? What's the point?

Suppose to be a bolt in ..Yes,I would def replace the lower rubber mounts if the one side is sagging....work with it and it should fit...even if you have to reem a few holes for alignment..Actaully part of buying "inexpensive" aftermarket parts...

we usually "step up and give input" when people actually ask a question

your "conclusion" should be a "theory"

and giving us an attitude about it, really wont get you an answer any faster

hey, I just presented a problem. this radiator is direct bolt-on and i'm having issues and told everything I thought and did... ....

And its just a radiator so, NO, i think its a little outlandish to have "theories" over it....By saying "MY conclusion," its telling you that thisss is what I'm about to do...

I dont' understand why everyone with FIVE ponies or some FANCY title is giving me PROBLEMS..

It's not that we're giving you problems but it seems very obvious if you have a sagging/deteriorated mount, the first thing would be to replace it and see if that cures the problem. I feel if you were capable enough to replace the radiator, you should be capable enough to figure out the simple solution. But it seems you already have, you just need to follow through with the repair.
